Mission
Our mission is to provide quality, academic child care services for low-income families attempting to rid themselves of the welfare system. We will work to meet the growing demand and needs for affordable quality child care in East Nashville and surrounding areas throughout the state of Tennessee.
Vision
Our Vision is to empower low income families to stand on their own and break the cycle of poverty by providing jobs and literacy training for parents and a educationally structured nurturing environment for our children. Strong families build strong communities and this fundamental foundation effects us all. Together we can achieve the extraordinary!
A Non-Profit At The Service of East Nashville
We feel that a non-profit organization should, first and foremost, be of service to its clients. Child Care Alliance, over the past eighteen years, has provided in excess of $1,000,000 in goods and services to their students, families and the East Nashville community. Some families not eligible for DHS assistance, and working families with multiple children, find it difficult to locate affordable child care. Child Care Alliance provides partial scholarships for those families so that the parents can go to work daily assured that their children are being cared for in a loving and structured environment.
Our strength lies in our ability to maintain children within our program who have been dismissed from other programs due to their behavior. Our program consists of arts and crafts, recreational activities, community speakers, police officers, community volunteers, dream building, skill streaming, dance classes, and so much more. Over the years strong community support has grown for our organization and we feel we have become a valued member of this community!
Child Care Alliance is a well-rounded, structured, nurturing program. Our commitment to the children, their families, schools, its teachers and the community continues to grow, every year. Our program and its staff provide positive praise, encouragement and a general positive environment for our members, so they can grow and challenge themselves to excel in their future! Our goal is to evolve and change to continue to be of service as the needs of this community change!
